FIRE & ICE 2002!! A view of the main floor of the Town Hall, filled with rabid gamers having a good time! These were taken on Sunday when the main floor was mostly occupied with players in the Warhammer 40K tournament.

A close up view of the frenzied battles during the Warhammer 40K tournament.

More close-up views of Warhammer carnage . . . though picture quality is not as good. Special thanks to Mark & Eric for running the Warhammer 40K tourney and repressing a rebellion in the championship game.

Mage Knight: Dungeon was a big hit at the con thanks to Dan Kelm's 3-D dungeon tiles. Special thanks also go to Randy and Mark for their patience and endurance in running demo's.

A variety of Strategy/War games were enjoyed at the 2002 convention. Some old classics, and some new favorites. Special thanks to Jack for Twilight Imperium, Chris for RISK: 2210AD, and Marla for Queen's Gambit.

Is Adam making a rude gesture? No, he's just rolling dice in the Warhammer 40K tournament.

More light-hearted strategy games were also enjoyed at the con, like Zombies! and Roborally. What could be more fun than battling hoards of brain-eating undead or pushing robots into pits!"

Players from as far as Chicago and Indiana matched wits over a game of Starfarers of Catan. Special thanks to Tangents and Game Base 7 for spreading the word about FIRE & ICE!

A grand miniature castle wall was the setting for a game of Warhammer Siege. More thanks to Mark & Eric for providing miniature gaming goodness all weekend!!"
