The Birch creek Inn is right on the corner of the fairgrounds within walking distance of the Expo Center. (not that you'd want to walk there in the middle of winter) I spoke with Dean, the owner/manager of the Birch Creek Inn and he graciously offered this greatly discounted rate to convention attendees. When calling to reserve a room, mention it is for the Fire & Ice game convention to receive the special rate. The deadline to receive this discounted rate is February 1, 2008. After that time the rooms will be full price. It is a fairly small hotel with only 7 rooms with one Queen bed and 8 rooms with 2 Full beds.

We've reserved a block of 20 rooms for Friday night and 30 rooms for Saturday night. When calling to reserve a room, mention you are with the Fire & Ice Game Convention room block. Refrigerators and Microwaves are available by requesting them BEFORE arrival. The Comfort Inn would not be able to put them in every room so those are on a first call, first reserved basis. You must book your room before January, 22, 2008 to recieve the special Fire & Ice convention rate.
